Property Rules and Regulations

  1. Check-In and Check-Out Check-In Time: 3:00 PM Check-Out Time: 11:00 AM Early check-in and late check-out may be available upon request and subject to availability.
  2. Quiet Hours: Quiet hours are from 10:00 PM to 8:00 AM. Please respect other guests’ peace and quiet during these hours.
  3. Smoking and 420 Friendly Policy: Smoking is allowed only in designated areas: by the fire pit and on the porches. The property is 420 friendly, but please ensure that all smoking (including 420) is confined to these designated areas. Stay away from children’s play areas, including swings and other playground equipment. Do not expose smoking or marijuana to children. Please dispose of cigarette butts and other smoking materials responsibly.
  4. Pets Pets are allowed on the property: Guests are responsible for taking care of their pets, including cleaning up after them. Pets should be kept on a leash when outside and should not be left unattended. Please dispose of pet waste in the designated pet waste bins.
  5. Visitors Guests are welcome to have visitors, but overnight stays for visitors are not allowed without prior approval from management.
  6. Respect for Property Please treat the property and its contents with respect. Report any damages or issues to management immediately. Do not remove any items from the property, including towels, linens, or kitchenware. 
  7. Cleanliness Keep your accommodation and common areas clean and tidy. Dispose of trash in the designated bins. Dishes, beds, bedding, and other items should be used responsibly and left in good condition. 
  8. Personal Property Guests are responsible for their personal belongings. The property management is not liable for any lost, stolen, or damaged items. Personal property should be confined to your accommodation and should not be left in common areas. 
  9. Use of Facilities Common areas, including the pool house, synagogue, and playroom, are for the enjoyment of all guests. Please use these facilities respectfully and follow any specific rules posted in these areas. Any equipment or supplies provided for guest use should be returned in the same condition they were found.
  10. Pool, Jacuzzi, and Sauna The pool, Jacuzzi, and sauna have specific schedules for men and women to ensure privacy and comfort for all guests. Please abide by these schedules: Men’s Hours: See schedule Women’s Hours: See schedule The schedule will be posted on a weekly basis. Please adhere strictly to the posted times. Accidents and mistakes regarding the schedule will not be tolerated. 
  11. Campgrounds and Fire Pit Guests are welcome to enjoy the campgrounds and the fire pit area. These spaces are perfect for relaxing outside. The fire pit must be used responsibly to prevent safety hazards and fire risks. Ensure that all fires are completely extinguished before leaving the area. Follow all safety guidelines and fire hazard precautions provided by the property management or caretaker. Guests must abide by any rules or directions given by the caretaker without question to ensure safety and compliance with property regulations. 
  12. Safety and Security Keep doors and windows locked when not in your accommodation. Report any suspicious activity or safety concerns to management immediately. 
  13. Surveillance Cameras Please be aware that the property is equipped with over 25 surveillance cameras that are operational 24 hours a day. By staying at Heimish Retreat, you consent to audio and video recording in all public areas of the property. If you do not agree to this surveillance, you will not be able to stay at the property. 
  14. Noise and Behavior Avoid excessive noise and disruptive behavior at all times. Intimidation, harassment, or any form of aggressive behavior towards other guests or staff will not be tolerated and may result in immediate eviction from the property. Bullying and intimidation, whether verbal or physical, and any type of hate speech or behavior are strictly prohibited and will not be tolerated. 
  15. Parking Park vehicles in designated parking areas only. Do not block driveways or other guests’ vehicles. 
  16. Emergencies In case of emergency, call 911 immediately. Notify management of any emergencies as soon as it is safe to do so.
  17. Compliance with Laws All guests must comply with local, state, and federal laws during their stay, including those of Sullivan County and the township. 
  18. Feedback We value your feedback! Please let us know if there is anything we can do to improve your stay. By staying at Heimish Retreat, you agree to abide by these property rules.
